PERSONALLY
I am originally from the small town of Walker, Louisiana which is located about 20 miles outside of Baton Rouge. I left Louisiana at the age of 19 to embark on a Church Service Mission. I spent the next 2 years of my life in and around the Lisbon, Portugal area as well as a seven-month stint on the West African Island of Fogo, Cape Verde. My missionary service opened my eyes and ingrained in me a love of people and travel and I have wanted to see the world since.
Upon my return, I left immediately for College in Hawaii. After two and a half years in Hawaii, and countless incredible experiences, I packed my bags, said my
goodbyes, followed some friends, and traded the sand for the snow in 2002!
Fast forward, now I live in Draper, Utah and I’m an incredibly happy man! I’ve been married to my best friend (Becka) since 2006 and we’ve built an incredible family with 4 kids, 2 boys (Grady and Graham), 2 girls (Emme and Lyla), and a dog (Bones). To say the kids keep us “busy” would be a drastic understatement!
I am a graduate of BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor of Science and a Business Minor. I’m a Husband, Dad, Coach, and lover of all sports and outdoors. I love to snowboard, boat, hunt, fish, coach my kids in their sporting endeavors, and generally just love hanging out with my friends and family.
PROFESSIONALLY
I am a residential Mortgage Loan Originator/Mortgage Planner, licensed to conduct business in several States since 2004. I have been blessed to survive and thrive through the whirlwinds of change through much diligence with a critical emphasis on Customer Service.
Since 2013 I’ve managed the South Valley Branch of SecurityNational Mortgage Company, responsible for hundreds of millions in loan originations during that time
frame.
In 2016 I was named the Top Producing Loan Officer of the Salt Lake Region of SecurityNational. In 2019 and
2021, I was awarded as a top 15 Loan Originator for the entire Company and a top 10 Loan Originator for the Company in 2021. For 2019-2021 I was also recognized by
Mortgage Originator Magazine as Top 1% of all Mortgage Loan Originators in the United States.
In 2021 I was promoted to oversee the Salt Lake – West Regional Area with around one hundred employees while continuing to maintain my personal Loan Origination and Management of my Branch.
Over the course of my career I have personally originated over a Billion dollars in Home loans, but more importantly, helped thousands of friends and members of our community achieve their home-ownership goals and dreams! I love what I do and I strive to maintain balance in work and life by living the “work hard, play hard” mantra.
